I have developed an obsession with Japanese stationary of late.  This has focussed mainly on one brand; Classiky.  Here are a few of Classiky’s items I am preciously hoarding…

Classiky x Kata Kata ceramics…

Whales large and small…

This is how my little whale plate arrived…

IMG_3030.jpg

This looks like a Wolf but is actually a Fox…

IMG_3081.jpg

Cats and Albatross bird.  I particularly love the colour of the bird.  And the cats of course are super cute…

IMG_3012.jpg

Classiky also have a 3-bear collection.  I have 2 the small blue here…

IMG_2242.jpg

And a large green, but alas no picture of that.

Now to stationary proper.

Everything arrives from Japan so pristine…

Lets start with my Classiky envelope stash…

IMG_3063.jpg

These are the ‘collage’ design…

IMG_3066.jpgIMG_3068.jpg

Glassine envelopes…

IMG_2231.jpg

These two are envelopes and bags and tags in one…

IMG_2918.jpg

Is hoarding this amount of envelopes healthy?

IMG_3065.jpg

This envelope design is called a ‘security’ envelope, not sure how it works yet, as I’m reluctant to remove it from the crystal clear cellophane (sigh)…

IMG_3070.jpg

These are made of wax, so obviously had to get them.

IMG_2910.jpgIMG_2908.jpg

I also have a problem with sticky notes.  Again, these are in the ‘collage’ style…

IMG_2958.jpgIMG_2928.jpg

I also collect weird Japanese notepads that I can’t find a real world use for, and don’t quite understand…

IMG_2979.jpg

Any ideas?

IMG_2983.jpgIMG_2981.jpg

I’m still none the wiser re: this “map paper”.

Whats this?

IMG_2984.jpg

Carbon paper?  Super useful for an 18th Century bank clerk…

IMG_2993.jpg

Or what about this?

IMG_2940.jpg

Or this?

IMG_2951.jpgIMG_2952.jpg

I’m sure that will come in handy for the 18th century hotel and grocery store I don’t actually own…

Some eye-let stickers.  Super useful as I graduated only 20 years ago…

IMG_2907.jpg

These would have actually been useful back then.

Some Classiky water adhesive number seals… (these are actually very popular);

IMG_2919.jpg

Some sticker ‘seals’?  No me neither…

IMG_2914.jpg

This is a hanging notepad made of ‘magazine paper’.  Unfortunately not fountain pen friendly, so a point deducted for that…

IMG_3035.jpg

And a ‘numbering’ memo pad…

IMG_3033.jpg

They just looked so nice I knew I had to have them.

Address labels, actually quite useful…

IMG_2948.jpgIMG_2949.jpg

And lastly my small letterpress collection…

IMG_2963.jpg

IMG_2969.jpgIMG_2970.jpgIMG_2967.jpgIMG_2968.jpg

IMG_2972.jpg

I do actually use these for gifting and cards.  Phew.

Some dreamy looking group shots…

IMG_2978.jpg

Here my letterpress collection are resting on top my large Classiky wooden box.  I don’t have inside pics of this yet, but this box is awesome and a nice way to store all-the-things.  Unfortunately, I have so much stuff all-the-things don’t quite fit it…

IMG_2966.jpg

I have the small version of the box too.  It’s big enough to store a few washi’s and a few stamps…

IMG_1896.jpg

In my defence, although this looks a LOT, trust me it’s not compared to others, especially those who can be found on You Tube.  Also these items only cost a few quid each.  Who could resist such loveliness?  Clearly not me.

Lastly, a quick look at my The Superior Labour Travellers Notebook’s natural leather pen wrap.

It arrived all beautifully wrapped from Baum-Kuchen…

IMG_1346.jpg

Here it is!

IMG_1347.jpg

And here all set up with some of my fountain pens, and some other goodies I picked up from Baum-Kuchen, including Paperphine twine (I believe this is a European brand), and some Classiky washi tapes.

Here wrapped up…

IMG_1342.jpg

And here all set up…
